KIDS DO WELL
 IF THEY CAN.

  -ROSS GREENE

I am one of three speech language pathologists working at Highland Elementary School. I completed my graduate training in Communication Disorders at the University of Minnesota, Mankato and this is my nineteenth year as a school based SLP.  Prior to elementary school, I worked as an SLP in the middle school setting. I believe that "kids do well if they can" and that it is our job, as educators, to scaffold independence and promote advocacy in the classroom setting and greater community.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our four kids, our dog Lola, and cat, Josie.  I love listening to podcasts, cooking, mountain biking, kayaking, and reading.  Time with friends, campfires by the lake, Netflix, and a lemon bar from Byerly's on a stressful day also make me very happy:)
